Current Summer Positions Available - Summer 2010
YMCA Camp Ihduhapi is the place for growth and adventure. Campers and staff engage in fun, adventuresome, and life-changing experiences. If you are interested in having a positive impact on the lives of kids and your peers, this may be the summer job for you.
Summer camp positions at Camp Ihduhapi are several and varied. The core group of staff are the Cabin Counselors. These folks are the backbone of camp and make the greatest impact on the kids. Other positions include Trail Guides, Trips Director, Health Officer, Waterfront Director, Arts & Crafts Director, Sailing Director, Waterskiing Director, Nature Director, Horse Riding Director, Challenge Course/ High Ropes Director, Assistant Camp Director and more.
Leadership opportunities are endless. In addition to working with great kids and awesome staff members during the Summer, Camp Ihduhapi has opportunities that stretch into the Fall and again in the Spring.
AmeriCorps Summer of Service Scholarship Applications
The AmeriCorps City of Lakes has created "Summer of Service" positions for YMCA Camping. Applicants must be 18 years or older and dedicated to additional responsibilities during their service period aside from assigned camp roles. Employment with the YMCA to continue after service period is complete.
