Best Summer Camp: YMCA: Camp Ihduhapi
Pronounced EE-doo-hop-ee, this YMCA camp in Loretto has been giving boys and girls ages 7 to 16 the chance to make lifetime memories for more than 75 years. Executive director Orville Lindquist says the camp’s four core values—caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility—help kids grow. “Campers develop integrity, self-reliance, and leadership skills, and gain an appreciation for nature,” Lindquist says. “They build lifelong friendships.” 3425 Ihduhapi Rd., Loretto; 763.479.1146
