There are now three ways to register for Camp Menogyn!

Wintercamp
happens December 27-30, 2008 and is known as the best four days of the year. We make a big, huge batch of our famous hot chocolate. Campers can cross-country ski, snowshoe and weather permitting, dogsled on the trails around Bearskin. Our wonderful sled dogs live on site during the winter and are just coming to camp for the season at Christmastime. Many campers choose to go on an overnight and may even dig a snow Quinzhee to sleep in. Some campers choose to sleep in our cabins and do day or half day trips. The winter wilderness at Menogyn is stunning in its beauty and inspiration. This program is for all campers 12-18 years old. $260 includes RT transportation from REI Bloomington. Spots are limited. An informational night for new and returning campers and their parent(s)/guardian in 2009. We'll review the lottery and registration process, look at slides from the previous summers, and answer questions about the amazing wilderness experiences offered at YMCA Camp Menogyn.
Midwest Mountaineering EXPO Nov 21-23
We'll have a booth at this intensely populated vendor fair and sale of the season. They set up a big tent in the parking lot and fill it with all sorts of gear, food, clothing - basically the Banff Film Festival of outdoor retail! Come and check it out. There will be clinics with people who have been there, special deals, informed experts and yes, maybe even Romance, Conflict and Adventure. Friday 4pm through Sunday Afternoon. 309 Cedar Ave S Mpls.

2009 Menogyn brochure is ready. Complete with dates, fees, information, registration form and pictures from last summer's adventures, this is everything you need to get to Menogyn next summer.
Go ahead and download and then print out a registration to get in before December 12th to make the lottery. Lottery information is on page 9 of the brochure. Please note that the lottery represents the best chance of getting the session you want that best fits your schedule but registration will still be available after that untill sessions fill. Please call or email us with any lottery questions and know that our 30-day Nor'wester and 50-day Long Trips are not included in the lottery. Those groups will be forming around the holidays.

Thanks for the memories! We'd like to share our summer 2008 memories with you all, your family, and friends! Come together and share hors d'oeuvres, watch a slideshow, and get last minute tuck shop gift items (we have new hats and visors and there are a few awesome hoodies left!). Submit your photos and see them on the big screen! There is no charge for this event. Hope to see you there!
