Engage' Work Camper Program

The Engage's (On'-ga-jays) were the original worker interns in the Voyager's camps of the 18th century. We chose this name to represent our diligent work campers who allow camp to be the jumping off point for so many wilderness trips. Engage' sessions allow campers to earn money toward their adventures and develop stewardship skills by working on service projects, camp chores, planning and participating in "Welcome" ceremonies for the trail groups and more.

We ask all first-time Engage's to apply and we interview them in the spring to be sure their expectations are in line. There are up to four boys and four girls to a session with a male and female Menogyn counselor.  If you are new to Menogyn please call us before applying. Campers wanting to Engage' need to be registered for a Menogyn wilderness adventure session before applying.
